Skye Trail – Planning Blog

My Skye Trail journal is now on the website – it covers planning and route selection at this time only, as I don’t set out for another 18 days or so.

There are so few Skye Trail journals on the web though that I thought it worth publishing now, in case anyone else is doing any planning at this time.

You can find the planning sections here: Skye Trail 2012 Planning

Once I’ve started walking (after 28th April) you will find the daily updates here: My Diary

Once I’ve returned and written up the blog properly you will find the final draft here: Lonewalker’s Skye Trail Journal 2012

Hi Stuart long time since I’ve been in touch, I hope you have a great time in Skye and that you enjoy the walk.
I’m off on the WHW as of this Friday (27th April) finishing with an accent of Ben Nevis on the the following Friday.
One day I just might get that journal sorted out, fingers crossed eh.

Dave, looks like we’re in for nasty weather over the next week or so. The WHW has good paths though so you’re unlikely to get wet feet unless the paths start running with water. Have a great walk and I hope you get some views from Ben Nevis 🙂
