A reasonable day was forecast between two awful ones this Bank Holiday, so I walked on Sunday. Skies cleared ahead of me for a while revealing Blencathra, but closed in as I reached the top. Warm and muggy for most of the walk and light rain for the last hour, but still a great day. Blencathra is an awesome hill - went straight into number 2 slot on my Top 5 Favourite wainwrights!
