Peak District

Walk Number 465

Walk Notes:

A misty start to the day, but I needed an early start and the sun at the end was a nice bonus. I’d decided to walk the old start of the Pennine Way for the guide book update – just to see what people would have had to contend with. I’ve never been across Kinder Scout when it’s not frozen solid, so today was as sloppy and boggy as I’d expected, but still enjoyable in its own way. Route finding on the plateau is awful and I was on the GPS the whole way. Met about 100 people as I descended into Edale after a short but pleasant walk.
