I don’t normally walk on a Sunday (we try to keep it a family day), but the weather forecast was so much better than the Saturday that I decided to make a quick dash to Kinder to pick off another ascent route and be home before lunch. The weather cleared and brightened just as it was forecast to do, about 11am, just as I was descending William Clough and as most people were setting out. The early part of the day was cold, windy and cloud covered, but it’s an excellent route up via the Three Knolls.
