A fine day for walking, warm with clear skies for most of the day, a light breeze on tops to keep us cool. Some varied scenery today with a bonus of the pub being open in Horwich End, where we stopped for an hour and filled the tanks. Wild Moor was the highlight of the day for me, a lovely winding path up from Errwood reservoir to the top of Burbage Edge where we found a sheltered camp beside the summit wall.
