An early start to catch the best weather of the day. Glorious skies, clouding over towards the end, but warm and sunny mostly, with good breeze on tops. Finally got round to doing the scramble out the back of Gordale Scar and really enjoyed it. Rough walking for most of the day, with lots of walls to climb, but none of them were tricky. The best view of Malham Tarn is from summit of Great Close Hill, a TUMP 4 just off route. Great day.
