Weather was pretty miserable most of the day, but improved slightly by the end. Loved the ascent of Birks Fell, using a narrow path along the side of the hill. Hoped for some shelter at lunch and I diverted to the pub at Kilnsey only to find it shut up tight! The path into Grassington through Bastow Wood and Gregory Scar was absolutely awesome though, and I will use this again if I ever get the chance!
