A new long distance walk for me and Alex, following the success and enjoyment on the Ridgeway, we decided the format worked well and we'd have a go at another 'middle ground' National Trail (one that sits about half way between me in the North and Alex in the deep South). Mostly good summer weather for this first day with views similar to the Ridgeway. Nothing breath-taking, but still long views from the edges and plenty of green.
