Walking part of the Oxfam Trailtrekker 2012 route with three of the Rambling Badgers, who are doing the full 62 miles of the route and they finished in 28hrs 48mins, a fantastic achievement. I was surprised at the pace they managed to maintain after 50 miles, we fairly motored across the moors at the end of my section into Hetton. Warm at night with slight breeze and hot again by 07:15, reaching very hot by 09:30 when I finished.
