An early morning walk which had to be short and sweet due to other commitments in the afternoon. A beautifully clear day with no cloud, quite cool to start in the shade of Skiddaw, but warming nicely as the morning progressed. The ridge route to Ullock Pike is brilliant - a lovely path with immense views to the west. It was a real shame to have to limit myself to a short walk with the weather the way it was - we've had too few days like this.
