An utterly fantastic day - perfect weather, warm, no wind, sun not too strong and pretty quiet fells for Lakeland. Route ended up picking itself to some extent, I had not intended to visit the Meldrums, but the path was just too inviting and what views it offered too! Followed a path that look liked it led off Little Mell Fell and that prevented me back-tracking, which is always nice. A great day - one of the years best.
