A cloudy start and then rain for most of the day with a strong wind, firstly in my face then at my back for the end of the walk. Bitterly cold for most of the walk, needing three layers to keep out the chill - certainly not a warm spring day! Some great, if muted by mist, scenery from High Scar, looking down into Bishopdale - a fine walk and good to be back on the fells after the SUW. The final half mile or so I noticed a return of the left foot pain that I thought I had shaken off, let's hope it goes again quickly.
