With a forecast that suggested the weather would turn bad after lunch, I decided on a short walk in the Peaks and an early start to try and avoid any rain. This walk had been suggested by Andrew Hill from Twitter (@AndrewHill10) and it used a path I'd heard about but never walked before (Doctor's Gate) and finishing with a new trig point on Cock Hill. Cool and windy on the summit, cooling more as the day went on, but never threatened to rain. A great walk, with a new perspective on an old hill.
