A break from the Pennine Way was needed this weekend, so I decided to visit one of the remotest trig points (just outside) the Dales. Very misty all day, windy, chilly but not too cold and extremely boggy. I spent most of the walk on trackless terrain, following fences and walls and the rest on 4WD tracks. A great day out and some lovely wilderness walking, just a few miles from civilisation.
