Another section of the Pennine Way for the guide book and this one has beaten me twice before, I wasn't about to be beaten again. I caught all the right trains this time and walked up onto a very windy moor. My relatively new Brasher boots gave me no end of trouble today; a mixture of insoles and poor fitting I think, but I ended up with blisters on both feet. I was becoming worried about my ability to camp in the increasing wind towards the end of the day, but found an expected sheltered pitch in the old quarry beside Light Hazzles Res.
