After a noisy night the weather cam in hard and we scarpered as quickly as we could. The wind was 40mph plus at times and the rain battered for the first hour of the descent. We eventually dropped out of it and the mist cleared and we followed the rugged track back into Kettlewell. A good weekend despite the weather, rather than because of it!
