More rain, more mud, more misery for me, really not enjoying the walk and have to break it to Chris that I'm going to leave the path. We decide to make for Dent Station and then a train to Settle and taxi back to Kirkby Malham. Feeling quite depressed about walking at the moment and not sure why.
