A walk simply designed to bag a couple of trig points at the southern end of the Yorkshire Dales. I now only have 11 pillars to visit, of the 54 inside the National Park boundary. Plans are afoot to increase that number, as Natural England are campaigning to increase the size of the Dales and/or the Lake District parks so they meet, somewhere around the M6. What a cracking day I had today - a beautiful summer day - not too hot, very little wind, blue skies all day - absolutely perfect walking weather - shame we only get half a dozen such days a year that coincide with a weekend.
