An almost perfect day apart from the wind, which I recorded at 39mph on the summit of Little Dun Fell, while in the shelter. The wind chill at that point was -19C and I was knackered! The corpse road down into Garrigill was a blessing and a curse - nice to be on an easy navigable track but hard on the feet and finished just before I needed the head torch.
