A colder day today with a good wind at times keeping the temp down and making it hard going in places. Overrun by hundreds of runners over High Harker Hill but stopped in the shooting hut there and again at Dents Houses to break the day up. Beer and meal in the newly refurbished Aysgarth Falls Inn set us up nicely for a nervous pitch on the disused railway bed in the heart of sheep grazing country above the Ure. Good night though despite my sleeping mat deflating again.
