A surprisingly tough day with a brutal ascent of Great Shunner Fell almost finishing me off before I'd started. Not the best ascent route of this hill. The walk across Angram Common was pretty good, but wet and the final ridge walk was hard work too. Cold and windy from the outset and although it cleared up the sun didn't warm me at all. Tough day, but enjoyable!
