Early start, to try and avoid the Bank Holiday traffic. Misty all way round really, but cleared somewhat as I progressed. Cool and overcast without any sign of the sun at all. Did a complete circuit of the hill and ascended from the easier, southern aspect. Great hill with loads of wil camp options on the top and lovely crossing of Thornton Rust Moor on the way back, if a little squelchy in places.
