Part 2 of this weekend's walk to Gargrave started cold and windy and it took a while for the day to warm up, promising signs of gold in the early morning eventually turning into warmth about 11:00, by which time I was shattered. My left knee was giving me a lot of trouble until I battered it into submission with Ibuprofen and Paracetamol. Not a great section of the walk this really - only the rugged beauty of Pinhaw Beacon to relieve the monotony of fields and pastures, mostly churned by cattle and shat all over by sheep :)
